A landscape of rolling waves, crescent moon and twinkling stars, set off by a luminescent polished shell backdrop. The twisted circular border frames the face of the pendant and four silver spheres mark North, East, South and West, reminiscent of a guiding compass.
This pendant is symbolic of the natural forces around us, all of which have had big influences on us culturally and scientifically throughout the ages. The moon steadies and guides the seas, the ocean transforms sunlight into breath and carries the rhythm of life and the stars are the beginning of it all.

This necklace was designed and hand-finished in our little Middleton Studio in the small coastal town of Middleton.
This pendant is marked with Au (Aurora Atelier) and holds a beautiful shaped round polished disc of Paua Shell, shining behind the stars and seas.
