Beautiful, whimsical jewellery with a grounded heart
'Celestial' is about the Stars, Moon, Sun and Sea, and how they are connected, scientifically and spiritually with us as humans.

Aquamarine is a very limited (as there are only two pieces available) collection of handcrafted Boulder Opal and glass enamelled silver rings. Each is unique. Each ring features a central organically rounded and polished Boulder Opal doublet, surrounded by a hand-cut and shaped setting with glass enamel filling little irregular polygons framing the softly curved centre opals. The coloured enamel outside contrasts but complements the aquamarine colours in the centre opals, while the organic and irregularly shaped geometry of the surrounding halo of polygons give these rings an earthly marine vibe.
The Backstory
I started Aurora Atelier as an offshoot from my little jewellery and art studio Middleton Deco, as a way of working on themed collections of fine jewellery. I feel like as someone who loves creating new things and has continued learning new ways of making, designing and creating jewellery, my skills and interests are always evolving, but are also becoming more fine-tuned. I have recently been practicing my skills at designing pieces in 3D (computer modelling them), then having them locally 3D printed and cast in precious metals. This will allow me, after much trial and error with the designs I'm sure, to create intricate and detailed jewellery with more interest and meaning behind it - and at a reasonable price point. I am so excited to start this new journey, and look forward to being able to bring you on this journey with me.
